RUNNING ON A GENERATOR?
Same job, same energy, same running hours. The difference sits in the fuel bill, in the haulage and in what comes out of the exhaust.
Buy once, then no fuel bill and no emissions on your ground.
€0.0066/kWh
The old standard: fuel to haul in, emissions, noise and a price that moves with the market.
SAME JOB, SAME ENERGY
| Continuous output | 5 MW |
|---|---|
| Energy a year | 43,800,000 kWh |
| Availability | 24 hours a day, all year |
The comparison assumes identical output and identical running hours.
WHAT IT COSTS
| EFLUXER | DIESEL GENERATOR | |
|---|---|---|
| Litres of diesel a year | none | 11,388,000 |
| Per kWh | €0.007 | €0.485 |
| Per year | €0 | €21,260,737 |
The difference is €21,260,737 a year, which is €0.479 per kilowatt-hour.
Diesel calculated at €1.867 per litre excluding VAT, worked back from the Dutch national statistics office pump price of €2.259 for 2e kwartaal 2026 (table 84991NED). Consumption 0.26 litres per kWh, supplied by the manufacturer. THE COMPARISON DELIBERATELY FAVOURS DIESEL: the EFLUXER side carries the purchase spread across the stated 40-year life, the diesel side carries fuel only. The generator itself, its maintenance, the tank storage and the haulage come on top. On the EFLUXER side there is no annual bill after the purchase; what the maintenance costs has not been supplied, so it appears on neither side.
THE CO₂ STORY
30,520
EFLUXER burns nothing, so none of that is released on your site.
Emission factor 2.68 kg CO₂ per litre of diesel, over 11,388,000 litres a year. The comparison with people comes from the manufacturer’s source material. This covers emissions during use; producing the unit and its components carries CO₂ of its own.
MORE THAN MONEY
Roaring engines and exhaust fumes, with neighbours and workers standing next to them.
NOx, SOx and particulates, exactly where people work and live.
Vibration, exhaust and noise wear down people and machines alike.
Zero-emission requirements are coming. That gives diesel an expiry date.
The pump price for diesel went from €1.725 a litre in 1e kwartaal 2025 to €2.259 in 2e kwartaal 2026. Your project budget does not move with it.
11,388,000 litres a year has to be driven to your site. That is a tanker every few hours, plus storage and permits on your own ground.
The EFLUXER answer: no fuel, no emissions on your ground, a fixed price per kilowatt-hour, quiet operation and a stated forty-year working life.
